20 Nov The Largest Playpark in Southern Africa
Absolutely Wild has bought a huge kid’s playpark. It measures 850 square meters in total and includes an indoor, outdoor, and trampoline park. It’s set to be the largest playpark in Southern Africa! We envision it to be a hub for countless memories and endless play. It’s designed with fun and safety in mind and offers a colourful, energetic space for kids to imagine, explore, climb, and bounce. We’re sure it’ll be a hit for families and visitors in the Klein Karoo.
Indoor Playpark
The indoor playpark makes up the biggest portion of the space and is 748 square metres. It includes a rainbow obstacle course with slides, climbing nets, tunnels, and lookout points.
Obstacle Course
The obstacle course is there as a landscape for kids to run around, play games, and let off steam. It’s there to encourage kids to run around, climb, and have fun! The obstacle course has various structures for climbing, rainbow tunnels to build coordination, swings, ball pits, foam blocks and toys, and a climbing wall adorned with jungle animals. The park has artwork from Disney movies, most noticeably from Alice in Wonderland.
Ball Pits
We’re going to create a larger ball pit for bigger kids and a smaller one for toddlers. This way, everyone stays safe while having fun.
Trampoline Park
We’re most excited about the indoor trampoline park: great for rainy days, safer than outdoor trampolines, and soft for maximum jumping. Watch your kids’ faces light up as they soar through the air with their friends.
Soft Ball Air Gun
With the softball air gun, kids can get a rush from shooting lightweight foam balls through lightweight cannons, making for hours of controlled, safe fun and coordination practice.
Outdoor Playpark
The outdoor playpark will have jumping castles and waterslides!
Jumping Castles
The playpark comes with numerous jumping castles in all colours, from red and yellow to the stripy rainbow. Our favourite jumping castle has holds for climbing, a ball pit, and a landing for thrilling play.
Waterslides
Alongside the waterslides at our pools, we’ll have a blow-up waterslide just for kids!
Fun for Everyone
In conjunction with the awesome playpark, the farm will have an array of Absolutely Wild attractions, including an indoor warm water pool, supertube, outdoor cold water pool, and kiddies pool. We also have different hiking and mountain biking trails on the farm so you can have a look at the animals on our farm, like bokkies, buffaloes, zebras, and other wildlife.
We’re also working on other additions, like a pad stal (farm stall), which will include a bar, shop, and display of old cars. Absolutely Wild is sure that with its myriad of things to do and attractions, we’ll become one of the Western Cape’s favourite glamping, camping, and farm stay locations.
