Absolutely Wild is situated on Route 62 near Barrydale in the Klein Karoo, surrounded by beautiful mountain views and wildlife. We are easily accessible, with only a short gravel road leading to the entrance.

Guests are welcome to enjoy our facilities before check-in or after check-out while waiting for their accommodation.

Cellphone reception can be limited due to our remote location. Wi-Fi is available in selected areas of the resort.

Glamping Tents: Yes, bedding and bath towels are provided.
Cottages: Yes, bedding and bath towels are provided.
Camping: Guests need to bring their own camping equipment, bedding and towels.

Please note: All guests are required to bring their own swimming towels, as the towels provided in our Glamping Tents and Cottages are for bathroom use only.

Unfortunately, we do not allow pets.

A 50% deposit is required within 48 hours of making your booking to secure your reservation.

The remaining balance is payable on arrival.

We accept EFT payments and card payments.

Yes! We offer special pensioner rates during selected periods outside of peak seasons. Please contact us for current specials.

We have both:

• Standard campsites with electricity
• Standard campsites without electricity

Luxury Campsites all include electricity supplied via a solar system.

Yes. Every Luxury Campsite has its own private bathroom and kitchenette.

As we rely entirely on solar energy, we kindly ask guests to use electricity responsibly to help us preserve this sustainable way of living.

Please note: Our borehole water is not suitable for drinking. It is perfectly suitable for showering, washing dishes, flushing toilets and other general household use. We recommend that guests bring their own drinking water or purchase bottled water from our on-site shop.

Yes! We have a restaurant and bar serving delicious meals, pizzas and refreshments. Restaurant operating hours may vary depending on guest numbers.

Yes, you can walk. The luxury tents and cottages are a few hundred metres away, while the camping spots are built all around the entertainment area.

Yes! Day visitors are welcome. The day visitor fee is R150 per person. Braai facilities can be arranged.

• No alcohol may be brought onto the property.
• No glass bottles or containers are permitted.

Yes! All overnight guests enjoy complimentary access to our resort facilities during their stay. Your accommodation rate includes access to:

There are no additional charges to use these facilities while staying at Absolutely Wild.

Please note that buffalo viewing is free, but guests who would like to participate in our special buffalo feeding experience can book this activity at an additional cost. Other optional activities, such as game drives and hunting experiences, are also available at an additional charge.

Absolutely! We are a family-friendly destination with plenty of space for children to explore and enjoy nature safely.

Yes. The water slides are open daily from 09:00 to 18:00.

No. Outside alcohol is not permitted on the property.

Yes! Braai facilities are available for overnight guests and can also be arranged for day visitors.

Yes. We kindly ask all guests to respect fellow visitors by keeping noise to a minimum from 22:00 onwards, allowing everyone to enjoy a peaceful night’s rest.

Please note that Absolutely Wild regularly hosts live entertainment, live music, and special events, particularly during peak seasons, public holidays, and busy weekends. On these occasions, the atmosphere may be more lively than usual, and entertainment may continue later into the evening.
