Our farm values authentic moments and meaningful experiences. During your stay near Barrydale, you can take in the area’s incredible wildlife and diverse bird species, enjoy the down-to-earth culture, and discover plenty of nearby attractions. There is also plenty to do without leaving Absolutely Wild – we have put so much thought into the activities on our farm, so that it will be loved by adults, children, adventure-seekers, and nature lovers alike.
As a guest, you can fill your days with adventure and fun. Indulge in African cuisine at our chef-led kitchen, enjoy peaceful sunsets over the Karoo, and feel amazing. We have 3 swimming pools – one for kids (12×4), one outside (25×8), and one that is enclosed and heated (12×5). 5 slides and 3 speed slides ensure countless hours of fun under the sun – even the kids’ pool has a slide, so that no one misses out! Best of all, our pools and slides are only for farm guests, so you won’t have to worry about overcrowding.
We are very proud of our indoor kids play area, which is a massive 850 square meters– the biggest in the Southern Hemisphere! This play area is also only available to guests staying at Absolutely Wild, ensuring an incredible family holiday at any time of the year. Our chef-led farm kitchen serves up delicious South African cuisines and has an exciting menu – pop in and dine without needing to reserve a table!
During your farm stay, you can book additional activities like quad bike rides and e-bike rides for an adrenaline rush. Buffalo feeds are a fun way to connect with nature, and game drives cover expansive landscapes and show the wildlife on our premises. Our farm is also home to some lovely walking and mountain biking trails.
