04 Jun The Luxury Glamping Tents Are Just About Done
Barrydale is about to change forever. In around 2 weeks, Absolutely Wild is set to finish construction on its tents! We’ve also gotten our first bookings (and we’re not even open yet!) We’re excited to invite you to stay with us.
Absolutely Wild’s beautiful scenery begs to be explored: it is filled with sloping hills dotted with Barrydale’s signature Karoo daisies. The ground is tufted with a carpet of Karoo bossies, set against mountains splayed out in the sun. At night, the moon peeks out and says a twinkling hello, watching over the farm. You can see the entirety of our Milky Way spilling its silver stars onto the tents.

Open-plan bliss
The luxury glamping tents are fully open-plan (except for the bathroom) and fully kitted out with a kitchen fit for the most discerning of glampers. If you hate camping, these tents are sure to change your mind. They have king beds and can sleep one or two. If you’re bringing the kids, ask for an extra sleeper couch. The tents are fully adjustable and can be customised to be a perfect fit for your family.
What’s more, they’re fitted with a wooden deck and a wood-fired hot tub. You can relax in warm bubbling bliss with good conversation or catch a tan in the Karoo sun. They have braais, too. Huddle around the fire and cook up a boerie storm.

If you get cabin fever, there’s loads to explore on the farm. Have a walk (or bike) around our trails and catch a glimpse of the animals on our farm, including bokkies, buffaloes, zebras, and more.
