Our Opening Weekend Shows
We want our opening weekend to be a massive celebration for all attending! We’ve invited iconic Afrikaans musician Dewald Dippenaar to take the spotlight for a live performance on the first day of our farm opening. Expect to be greatly entertained by some of his most popular hits, including “Plaasdorp,” “Wys Jou Muis,” and “Bel die Polisie!”. His music reaches an emotional depth while remaining upbeat and fun, for feel-good energy that gets everyone up and dancing.
Over the past decade, Dewald Dipenaar has established a name for himself as a remarkable Afrikaans singer and songwriter. His signature country and rock style sets him apart, and he also plays the harmonica and guitar beautifully. Since his first original CD, “October Sky,” he has continued to share his talents and passion with fans across South Africa. Dewald is the perfect fit for our first live performance at Absolutely Wild Farm, setting the pace for an amazing opening weekend.
We will also have Juan Boucher live at Absolutely Wild on the 1st November 2025. His dynamic stage presence, authentic sound, and amazing energy perfectly capture the spirit of our farm, which is lively, and full of heart. While our glamping tents and cottages are fully booked for the opening weekend, we can still accept accommodation bookings for private and shared camping spots.
