Our team have had an exhilarating last few months working hard behind the scenes to get the farm ready for you! We’re set to open on the 31st of October 2025, and our love for this region and the quiet, natural charm it holds has led us to this moment. Guided by our vision to ensure the perfect getaway near Barrydale, visiting Route 62 just got a whole lot more amazing! We’re here to welcome you on an adventure you’ll treasure for years to come.
A Bit About Juan Boucher
With an early passion for music and storytelling, Juan Boucher advanced from a small-town dreamer into one of South Africa’s most beloved Afrikaans singers, with powerful lyrics that speak to the heart. His style has evolved from his earlier days of electronic and rave beats to where he is now as a contemporary pop artist enjoyed by many generations.
Juan grew up on a farm in Vereeniging, where he taught himself to play guitar. His debut album, Koue Hande, was released in 2014, and his latest EP, Die Presies Wat Liefde Doen, was released in mid-2025. Feel the soul of South African music and connect with people through a live performance and good vibes. From lyrical ballads to upbeat tracks that will get you on your feet, Juan Boucher’s music is the perfect fit for the first live show hosted at our Absolutely Wild Farm.
Who Can Attend the Live Show?
All guests enjoying accommodation at our Absolutely Wild Farm can attend this show at no cost. Whether you are a family booked into one of our modern cottages or a couple staying in a luxury tent, you are in for an unforgettable experience! While there are limited spots available, outside visitors are welcome to reserve their space and join in – the cost is R250 per person, and bookings can be made by contacting us directly.
