Guess what? Absolutely Wild farm finally has an opening date! Yes, we know it’s been ages since our last opening date prediction – but this time, we’re positive that the farm and its amenities will be complete, ready for you and your loved ones to enjoy them to the fullest.
We’ve been working on various projects to ensure the farm is as exciting and luxurious as possible. From wood-fired hot tubs to buffalo encounters, we’ve done our level best to guarantee a good time for an affordable rate. The farm’s owner has big plans for the farm, wanting to add an old car museum, a padstal, a supertube, Africa’s biggest indoor play park, and indoor and outdoor pools – plans he’s worked hard to make come to fruition.
We’re ecstatic to welcome you to our dream come true. Imagine: a farm set against the mountains and ocean-blue skies of the Karoo, endless adventure laid out before you. The promise of good times and unforgettable memories to be made with your loved ones on a farm that’s fun by design.
What to Expect When We Open
We don’t have an exact timeline or plan for what we plan to offer on opening day. We do have a general outline of what we would like to do. Absolutely Wild wants to offer live entertainment on Friday and Saturday nights. Plus, since it’s Halloween and all, we want to plan fun activities for the kids. We’re a family farm and want to ensure everyone has a great time, regardless of their age.
The entertainment we’ll offer is yet to be announced. Again, we’re still working out the kinks in our plan for opening weekend. It’s still months away, and we’re confident that Absolutely Wild will create a weekend that’s fun for the whole family!
Looking Forward
Absolutely Wild will work with a booking coordination system that will sync bookings across all major accommodation and rental platforms, such as Airbnb, Lekkeslaap, Travelground, Booking.com, and more, to make booking your stay at the farm seamless.
What to Be Excited About
Absolutely Wild has worked hard to create some accommodation options to choose from: camping with your own tent, glamping tents, and cottages. This way, you can customise your Absolutely Wild experience to your liking, whether that’s roughing it the old-fashioned way, blending the old and the new with a glamping tent, or maximising comfort with a cosy cottage.
In addition, we have several sorts of animals on our farm, including Gemsbok, Springbok, Eland, Sable, Nyala, Kudu, Duikers, Zebras, endemic birds, and a number of reptile species.
If you love swimming, you’ll be elated over our supertube, indoor warm water pool, kiddies pool, and outdoor cold water pool.
