Great news for anyone planning a farm escape along Route 62: all accommodation types at Absolutely Wild now have electricity. Whether you are settling into a spacious glamping tent, a self-catering cottage, or setting up on one of our camping stands, you can look forward to modern conveniences without giving up any of that wild, open-air magic.
The Comfort Upgrade Guests Have Been Asking For
One of the most exciting developments at our farm is the rollout of electricity across all our stays. Guests staying in our luxury glamping tents can now charge devices, run fans or heaters depending on the season, and enjoy lighting after the sun goes down behind the Langeberg Mountains.
The same goes for our cosy cottages and our luxury and standard camp sites.
This is a meaningful upgrade for families, couples, and groups who love the idea of the outdoors but appreciate a few home comforts along the way. You can still fall asleep to the sound of the Karoo night and wake up to birdsong, but now you do not have to scramble for a headlamp to make morning coffee.

We have another exciting announcement in the works. An on-site café and farm shop is currently under construction at Absolutely Wild, and it is going to be something special. The shop will stock fresh farm meat and game meat, sourced directly from the farm, giving guests a genuine farm-to-table experience they can take straight to the braai.
Imagine picking up a pack of fresh venison or farm-raised beef at the shop, then heading back to your cottage or campsite to cook it over the coals as the sun sets over the Klein Karoo. That kind of experience is what Absolutely Wild is all about. Pair it with a visit to our chef-led farm kitchen, and your mealtimes on the farm will be truly unforgettable.
