At Absolutely Wild, we believe some of the best memories are made when families can laugh, explore, and connect in the Klein Karoo. Our farm near Barrydale was created on this belief, and we will continue to enhance the experiences and accommodation options guests can look forward to at our farm. Our first season was a success thanks to you, and we are going to keep taking strides in 2026!
Since opening our doors at the end of 2025, we have already welcomed plenty of visitors in search of meaningful adventures along Route 62. Our plan for 2026 includes new slides, more pools, zip lines, and additional accommodation. Whether you are glamping in style or enjoying a cosy tent setup under the clear night skies, magic in the Klein Karoo starts right here!
Zip Line at Absolutely Wild
Although guests at our farm can enjoy various exciting activities, we feel inclined to step it up a notch! In 2026, we will be introducing our latest attraction – zip lining! We are in the beginning phases of putting this plan in motion, and know it will be a massive hit. Enjoy zipping through the air and across our Absolutely Wild farm, and the thrill of sliding down a steel cable in a safety harness.
Brand New Pools and Slides
If the past season has taught us anything, it is that our slides and pools are a fan favourite. Our farm already features a massive outdoor pool (25 x 8 meters), an enclosed indoor pool (12 x 5 meters), and a separate swimming pool for children to enjoy uninterrupted. 5 slides and 3 speed slides mean plenty of fun for everyone.
That is not stopping us from levelling up and adding more pools and slides to the mix. Embrace the fresh outdoor air and live it up without limits at Absolutely Wild, where every adventure is bigger, bolder, and the best!
More Accommodation for You!
We want everyone to have the opportunity to join in the fun! This year, we will be adding more camping spots and luxury tents to the mix. If you are a local or traveller who loves a unique find, pull up with your caravan or pack your camping gear for an unforgettable stay. Not a camper? No problem – our glamping options and cosy cottages still let you enjoy the outdoors in comfort.
In addition to what we’ve covered here, our farm attractions include a restaurant and the largest playpark in the Southern Hemisphere! We’re holding nothing back when it comes to establishing an exciting family getaway along South Africa’s beloved Route 62.
