11 Apr Guess What? The Accommodation Is Almost Done!
It’s been a while since we last caught up, and we’re so excited to share what’s happening on the farm with you! We’re almost done building our accommodation, and the waterslide is almost built. Read on to learn about what’s happening with the coolest farm in Barrydale!
Tents are going to be built
We’ll have two types of camping solutions: glamping and camping.
Glamping
We’re so excited to have you test out our glamping tents! They’re going to be erected at the end of July, just in time for the start of spring.
The tents will be private glamping units that are 1.5 meters above the ground. Each luxury tent will be complete with a wood-fired hot tub on its deck, and a braai. They’ll be 1 bedroom tents, with their own bathrooms. Each tent will accommodate 4 people with a double sleeper couch in the lounge.
Camping
On the other hand, you can also camp. We’ll have camping grounds for you to pitch your tents, should you wish to camp normally. If you opt for a VIP spot, you have a private ablution block adjacent to your tent. However, if you book a normal camping spot, you’ll share an ablution block with the other campers.
The campsite will accommodate about 45 campers. That’s 45 friends to have fun with!
We are digging holes for the swimming pool
Even more exciting is that we’re finally digging holes to build our swimming pools! It’ll be 20 metres long and 8 metres wide. The best part? It’s to be paired with a supertube (waterslide). With both a playpark and supertube, your kids will be occupied for hours, leaving you with a chance to enjoy your wood-fired hot tub and a glass of local wine.
Why Absolutely Wild?
Absolutely Wild will have a farm stall that boasts old cars (we see you, dads) where you can go for a drink with friends, old and new. Also, we have tons of animals you can have a look at. Go on hikes, for a ride, or chill at the pool. Bring your friends and family for a rocking time at camp! We hope you’ll make memories that will last a long time with loved ones.
